This error occurs when try to update....

File is locked. Ost

Hello,
it means that another program is having an open file handle to your ost-file.
The Backup program will check whether a file lock exists and wait for max. 5 seconds.
The wait time can be configured via registry (WaitTimeFileLock)
You can use procmon from sysinternals to find the program which locks the ost-file
(menu Find --> Find handle or dll)
One person reported some weeks ago that lync might lock outlook files.

If outlook takes more time than 5 seconds to close, you can increase the WaitTimeFileLock value.
If another program locks ost-file, you must find the responsible program via Procmon e.g.

Already repair, the issue is that the Skype for Bussiness is been open and locked the file.

Hello,

good to know. Skype for business has a high integration level within microsoft products.
I think contacts and calendar are shared between these progams.
