Hi,

Thank you for the great app, its running well.

Is it possible to set the specific hh:mm to start backup process?
Currently, backup process seems to start everyday as I set up so, when I close outlook every night, but sometimes at afternoon. I 'm not sure what time it starts. Any configuration is possible to set exactly what time on daily basis? or simply is the backup scheduled to start after 24 hours from the last backup?

Hi Koy_O, my understanding is that the backup starts every time you close outlook. So if you have a backup interval of 1 day, if you don't close Outlook in let's say 4 days, then you won't run any backup during those 4 days.
As far as I know, there is no such setting to schedule when the backup process starts.

Hello,
exactly. Outlook must be closed to get a consistent copy of the pst-files.
Thus the date / time is checked when outlook closes. If the number of days since last backup passed, the backup starts.
One possibility would be to start a script at a certain time which closes outlook and starts the backup.
The backup program can also be launched via command line.

Kind regards,
Thomas

Hi javiergioia, Thomas, thank you so much for your explanation, it helps me a lot. I will try to make a trigger via command line.
