First run from GPO deployment - requires entering Backup tab and clicking Save

We're 99% away from deploying your great app, and other than the folder preference, we're only running into one show stopper.

Windows 10, Outlook 2016. Deploying VSTO and then your app via GPO, with your GPO configuring options.

Backup tab shows, but on each exit I get the error:
"Value cannot be null
Parameter is name: name"

If I enter the Backup tab, click Settings, then (without changing anything) click Save, it will work after that.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much

could you please take a look at the registry key

There are all configured parameters stored. Seems there is missing one.
Could you please compare before and after and send me the difference?

Thanks Thomas,

I've taken a snap of the registry after deploy + GPO in a non-functioning state, and then after clicking "Save" in the dialog, which results in a running state.

The only thing I'm noticing is that BackupSuffix and PostBackupCmd are both now keys, but with no value.

Afterwards I modified the GPO to include a backup suffix, and the error went away on deployment. Not sure how you want to tackle that, but I had assumed that most of the settings in the GPO were optional, not required.

Thanks again!

thanks for the analysis.
I could reproduce the problem.
The problem is fixed in the development branch and will be available with next version.
